While I was at FX, I had the wonderful opportunity to design looks for the upcoming season of the show. The show centers on the relationship between a mentor and a protégée: two women in powerful positions working at a high profile law firm. I wanted to convey in these boards how the relationship of the two main characters are intertwined not only in law, but also in their personal lives. I used the chains from the scales of justice along with a destroyed, tarnished look to convey the struggles the characters face.
